When young, we don’t understand the meaning in books

by the time we do, we have become the characters within them. Why should we learn more? Because the more you read, the more you’ll find that the people around you are excellent without a sense of superiority. They shine without being dazzling, confident yet knowing when to hold back, providing you with a continuous source of positive energy. Just as birds and fish travel the same path, learning allows us to walk alongside the strong and resonate with the wise. So when you still have things to learn and exams to take, in a certain sense, it’s a kind of happiness. It’s an opportunity given by the heavens, so please grasp it firmly. If a person is unwilling to grow, their values will be determined by those around them. Isn’t that sad? They have no other sources of input; they can only imitate those around them or gradually be changed by their environment, following whatever is popular. They will never find themselves. So when young, we don’t understand the meaning in books, but years later, you will realize that those exams were not just tests; they were about the future of youth and the joy of old age. Think about the courses you take; aren’t they about the courage to make choices and the confidence to say no? You might have thought your school uniform was ugly when you were in school, but when you enter society, you’ll find it’s the best fabric to hide the gap between the rich and the poor. First, smell the fragrance of books, then the scent of flowers. Don’t say learning is bitter; it’s the path to seeing the world.
